One day a man came to visit Sisman Tuccar at the teahouse and said, “You keep talking about this space that’s between what’s already gone and what hasn’t yet arrived. I’ve been looking into it but there’s nothing there.”
“What were you expecting?” asked Sisman.
“I don’t know,” said the man, “I was hoping for something.”
Said Sisman, “Well you know, sometimes nothing is something. And sometimes something is nothing.”
